The first thing to look for is "network cable unplugged" icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. It looks like this: network connection icon
If you do not see this icon, proceed to Step 2.

  1. If you see this icon, it means that your computer is not physically connected to the Skynet radio. Check the network cable plugged into the wall and make sure the connector is firmly seated in the wall jack. You should hear a click when you plug it in. Next check the other end of that cable where it plugs into the power adaptor. Finally check the connector plugged into your computer. Also look at the power adaptor plugged into your electrical outlet. The adaptor has a green light on it which indicates this unit has power. After you have checked all of these connections, wait approximately 30 seconds for the Skynet radio to reboot itself. If this fixed your issue, the “network cable unplugged” icon will disappear and you should now be able to connect to the Internet.
  2. Another possible cause of your connection problem is your computer may fail to recognize the Skynet radio. To fix this issue, you must reboot the Skynet radio. Locate the power adaptor (black transformer with a green light plugged into one of your electrical outlets) and unplug it. Leave it unplugged about 10 seconds and then plug it back in. After 1 minute, check to see if you are able to access the Internet. If you are still not able to get online, reboot your computer and try again.

If these steps did not correct your issue, or you are still unable to get online, please call tech support at 281-293-7900 for further assistance.

Also, if you find yourself having to repeat Step 2 frequently, following the instructions outlined here should alleviate this issue.
