The Skynet radio, by default, acts as a firewall between the outside world and your computer. For some applications this firewall needs to be bypassed. To do so you will need to enter some information into your PC (if you have only one computer) or into your router (if you are running multiple computers).
If you are using a router, your Internet connection type needs to be changed to "static". Check with the router manufacturer to find out how to do this. Enter the settings at the bottom of this page to define your "static" connection.
If you are connecting straight to a computer, your Local Area Network (LAN) needs to be set to "use the following IP address". Consult the help files on your operating system to find out how to change these settings. Enter the settings at the bottom of this page into your computer.
If you are still not able to use your applications, call tech support at 281-293-7900 and have them verify the firewall settings of your Skynet radio.
